Following the retirement of Dr. Omobola Johnson as Board Chair of Guinness Nigeria (effective January 28, 2025), the company has announced the appointment of Prof Fabian Ajogwu SAN as Board Chair — effective January 29, 2025.
Prof Ajogwu has been a member of the Company's Board since November 2018, serving as a member and more recently as Chair of the Nominations, Governance and Remuneration Committee and as a member of the Board Finance Audit and Risk Committee.
Fabian Ajogwu is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University Professor of Corporate Governance. He is a Senior Partner at Kenna Partners, where he has practiced for over 3 decades, with 16 years in the Inner Bar.
He also sits on the board of Stanbic IBTC, Novare Group in Nigeria (owners of the Novare malls), ARM-Harith Infrastructure Investment Limited (Nigeria’s pioneer infrastructure fund), and NES Global.
