Andersen Global Teams Up With South Africa’s Beech to Bolster Mining and Energy Practice

Andersen Global has entered a collaboration agreement with Beech Incorporated, a Johannesburg based law firm, to broaden its legal capabilities across Africa.

Beech advises clients in the mining, renewable energy, infrastructure, and oil and gas sectors on mergers and acquisitions, commercial matters, project financing, health and safety, environmental compliance, employment and regulatory issues. Its multidisciplinary team covers the full project lifecycle, from development and financing through operations and stakeholder engagement. The firm is ranked by Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500.

“Our approach is built on understanding the industries we serve at a practical level and providing practical, actionable advice to clients operating in complex regulatory environments,” Beech Chief Executive Officer Warren Beech said. “By working alongside the member and collaborating firms of Andersen Global, we are better positioned to support organizations operating across jurisdictions while continuing to deliver responsive, industry-focused legal solutions.”

Mark Vorsatz, global chairman and chief executive officer of Andersen, said the partnership strengthens the network’s ability to advise clients facing complex regulatory and operational challenges in the mining and oil and gas industries throughout Africa and beyond.

Andersen Global is an international association of independent member firms offering tax, legal and valuation services. Founded in 2013 by U.S. member firm Andersen Tax LLC, it now counts more than 50,000 professionals and a presence in over 1,000 locations through its member and collaborating firms.
